Ghanaian winger Prosper Kassim was a bright spot for Union Omaha in their surprising 2-1 home defeat to South Georgia Tormenta FC in the opening round of the 2025 USL League One on Friday night.
Playing at Werner Park, Kassim delivered a strong 90-minute performance and registered his first assist of the season.
His clever pass set up Ryan Becher for a 13th-minute equalizer after Tormenta had taken an early lead through Yaniv Bazini.
But the joy didn't last long.
