General Secretary for the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiifi Kwetey has said that he finds difficulty in pointing to any credible person who has announced his intentions to lead the New Patriotic Party.
He says this is very worrying because the government needs a very credible opposition to put it on its toes.
Fiifi Kwetey was addressing the media at the University of Ghana where he attended the general meeting of the NDC's tertiary wing, TEIN.
He said, regardless of the names out there who lack credibility, the party has the opportunity to put in place a system that will allow for credible men to emerge to lead the party from where it is now.
