Tempers flared on live television during the Thursday, July 17, 2025, edition of the Good Evening Ghana program when , Founder and Leader of the All People's Congress (APC), angrily called into the show to blast the spokesperson of the self-proclaimed Igbo King in Ghana.
His outburst followed growing controversies surrounding the king, Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu's alleged acquisition of over 50 acres of land to build an "Igbo Village" community.
Ayariga accused Ihenetu's representatives of misleading Ghanaians with their denial of plans to build a community in the country - a controversy that has sparked widespread public outcry and raised serious concerns about Ghana's sovereignty.
According to Ayariga, there is video evidence showing Ihenetu making claims about acquiring land to build a community in Ghana.
