The Ghana Football Association (GFA), through its Technical Directorate and in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES), will launch the Football ‘4' Girls project in the Volta Region from Tuesday, July 22 to Thursday, July 25, 2025.

The initiative, which aligns with the GFA's Women's Football Strategy, aims to boost participation of young girls in football and promote gender equality in sports.

Organised in collaboration with the Volta Regional Football Association, the programme will target basic schools in Central Tongu and South Tongu Districts, particularly in Adidome and Sogakope.

Girls aged 6 to 12 will be introduced to the fundamentals of football in a structured and inclusive environment designed to build confidence, develop basic skills, and inspire long-term interest in the game.
