Asante Kotoko have reinforced their squad with the acquisition of promising right-back Shayibu Abubakari on a three-year deal, making him their tenth signing of a highly active transfer window.
The 21-year-old joins the Porcupine Warriors after passing his medical and is expected to bring athleticism, versatility, and fresh competition to the team's defensive unit.
Abubakari, who arrives from Karela United, is no stranger to top-level Ghanaian football.
He previously played for Real Tamale United and also gained international experience during a brief stint with Czech outfit FK Mlada Boleslav.
