Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, has sharply criticised the Minority Caucus for demanding an investigation into the violence that erupted during the Ablekuma North parliamentary election rerun.

According to him, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which the Minority represents, lacks the moral authority to make such a call.

A party that endorsed violence during elections cannot come today and call for investigations into acts of violence.

It is those of us who condemned it in the past and are condemning it today who can make such a call, he stated on the floor of Parliament.
