The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to delivering on its promise to construct new sports stadia for Ghana's newly created regions.
This assurance comes after President John Dramani Mahama announced, during his Thank You Tour in the Western Region, that his administration will build six modern stadia for the new administrative areas.
Speaking to Citi Sports, Mr.
Ampofo Ankrah lauded President Mahama's leadership, expressing the Authority's full backing for the initiative. "His Excellency the President is committed to ensuring that we have the best infrastructure in Ghana under his second tenure, and he's already hit the ground running," Ampofo Ankrah told Citi Sports. "We're very inspired by his leadership.
