The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has announced its decision to suspend all intended industrial action following a meeting with key government stakeholders on Monday, July 15, 2025.
President of the Association, Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, revealed that the meeting held with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) and the Ministry of Finance yielded commitments from government that were satisfactory to the association's leadership.
She disclosed that the government had agreed to address the long-standing demand for fuel allowances.
According to her, the Ministry of Finance confirmed that provisions for the allowances would be factored into the upcoming mid-year budget review.
