The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved the Media and Marketing Regulation 2025, set to take effect from the 2025/26 football season.

The new regulation will apply to all GFA-sanctioned competitions, including the Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, Malta Guinness Women's Premier League, MTN FA Cup, Women's FA Cup, and lower-tier leagues under the Regional Football Associations (RFAs).

This regulatory framework is designed to protect and enhance the commercial value and visibility of Ghanaian football by clearly defining ownership and use of media and marketing rights.

While it will be fully enforced in the top-tier competitions, its implementation in the RFA leagues will be gradual.
