The Asantehene, , has decided to forgive the Bantamahene, Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, following his (the Bantamahene's) involvement in some disputes.
It can be recalled that Asantehene , in March 2025, gave Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI an ultimatum of less than a week to present the missing Tano deity of Adanwomase, Asare Bediako, to the Sumankwaahene.
The Asantehene, who had assigned the Bantamahene to search for the missing deity, criticised him for poorly handling the task.
At a meeting held at Manhyia Palace, the Otumfuo questioned the Bantamahene about the whereabouts of the deity before giving him the ultimatum.
