Kennedy Osei Nyarko has challenged the president to close down the fuel depot at the Osu Castle if he's serious about cutting fuel allowances to political appointees.
President John Dramani Mahama, in a statement issued on July 15, 2025, announced that he has scrapped fuel allowances for political appointees.
He, in the statement, stated that the decision to scrap fuel allowance is to save the country some money and also because leadership has to also sacrifice if they are calling on the people to sacrifice.
