General Secretary for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua, has explained that it can't be true that former President John Agyekum Kufour has been sidelined in the NPP.

According to him, the party involves him in their decision-making and activities since the party's constitution makes provision for that.

Justin Kodua, who was speaking in an interview on Accra-based Peace FM when he made this known. "Under the Fourth Republic, the man who first secured power for us was Kufuor, and we are proud of him as a former statesman.

There is no way we would do anything and fail to inform him. "Our party constitution makes all past presidents' members of the National Executive Committee.
