Former Black Stars player Anthony Baffoe has applauded the Black Queens of Ghana after their emphatic victory against Tanzania at the 2024 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Queens on Monday night put on a show in their final Group C match of the tournament, beating Tanzania 4-1.

Reacting to the victory, Anthony Baffoe stressed the importance of the victory, insisting that it is very good for the morale in the camp of the Black Queens.

He further urged the team to keep fighting in the tournament after advancing to the knockout stage. "Bravo Black Queens -great fighting spirit 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭congratulations ladies well done Black Queens. 4:1 vs Tanzania 🇹🇿 this is very good for the moral in camp keep going galant Queens," Anthony Baffoe said in his post on X.
