Ghanaian-Italian forward Kelvin Yeboah has been voted Man of the Match following his heroic display in Minnesota United's victory over San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS last Saturday.  Yeboah scored as Minnesota thumped San Jose 4-1 at Allianz Field to move to second place in the Western Conference.

The ex-Sturm Graz striker's performance earned him the most votes from fans as he received a $1000 prize, which will be donated to the Kelvin Yeboah Foundation. "You voted, and Kelvin Yeboah is tonight's Bell Bank's Man of the Match!

That means a $1,000 donation to an organization of Kelvin's choice: Voices For Racial Justice," posted the club.

The 25-year-old nephew of Ghana legend Anthony Yeboah registered his seventh goal of the campaign after scoring his side's second in the emphatic victory.
