English-Ghanaian defender Josh Acheampong made history after winning the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea.
The 19-year-old became the sixth player with Ghanaian heritage to win the coveted trophy after playing a role in Chelsea's success in the United States.
Although, he made just one appearance at the newly-expanded tournament, it was enough for him to return to London with a medal.
He joins Sulley Muntari, Danny Welbeck, Jerome Boateng, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Jeremy Doku as Ghanaian players to etch their names on the golden trophy.
