Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has been confirmed dead, according to statements shared by his former aide, Bashir Ahmad, and official spokesperson, Garba Shehu.
In a brief statement, Shehu announced that Buhari passed away this afternoon at a clinic in London.
