Two armed robbers have been convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison each by the Kumasi Circuit Court 4 for their involvement in a violent robbery attack in Atonsu Kuwait, a suburb of Kumasi.

According to a statement from the Ashanti Regional Police Command dated July 9, 2025, the two convicts, identified as Abass Kasim, aged 26, and Daniel Morro, also known as "China", aged 25, were part of a five-member gang that stormed a private residence at Atonsu Kuwait around 2:30 a.m.

on July 31, 2021.

The gang, wielding a pistol and cutlasses, assaulted the victim by shooting him in the abdomen and inflicting multiple cutlass wounds.
