Niger earned a hard-fought victory on Friday, beating Togo by a goal to nil at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram to begin their campaign at the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship on a positive note.
The U20 national teams of the two countries locked horns today in their opening Group B match at this year's tournament.
Both national teams put up a strong performance, but only one goal was scored despite the several chances created.
The only goal of the match was scored by Abdoul Latif Goumey in the 28th minute.
