Ghana head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has admitted he was left disappointed following the Black Queens' 1-1 draw with Mali at the 2024 WAFCON, despite his side's dominant showing on the pitch. "We will normally win 9 out of 10 games with these stats, but we didn't today, and I feel a little bit sad about that," Bjorkegren said after the match in Berkane.

The result leaves Ghana with just one point from two matches, having lost their opening game to South Africa.

Now, Bjorkegren's side faces a must-win encounter against Tanzania in their final Group C game. "But we are still in the tournament," he added. "And we have to make sure we win the third game." The Black Queens' fate now hangs on the outcome of the final round of group fixtures as they aim to qualify for the quarter-finals.
