today in the Ablekuma North parliamentary rerun, NPP parliamentary candidate Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie reaffirmed her determination to secure victory and uphold electoral accountability. "We neither sleep nor slumber," she declared to journalists, as a crowd of enthusiastic supporters followed closely, singing her praises.
Afriyie's remarks came against the backdrop of a politically tense atmosphere surrounding the rerun.
The Electoral Commission called for the new vote after citing irregularities at several polling stations during the December 7, 2024, general elections.
