The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, , has called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to take action on a complaint he lodged regarding a violent incident that occurred during the 2019 Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.
In a post shared on social media on July 11, 2025, he reminded the IGP and CID of his long-standing expectation for justice. "Dear IGP of the @GhPoliceService and DG of the CID @ciau_pid.
I am still waiting for the Police to act on my complaint from Ayawaso West Wuogon.
It must be treated as a first-come, first-served basis," he noted.
