Edward Omane Boamah, has defended the government's decision not to deploy military personnel in the ongoing parliamentary election rerun in Ablekuma North, stressing that Ghana does not need to rely on the military every time there is electoral tension.
His comments follow an incident in which a group of unidentified, heavily built men stormed the St.
Peter's Methodist Church polling station in Ablekuma North, disrupting the voting process.
