Ghanaian sports journalist Thierry Nyann has officially announced his departure from Media General after a decade of service.
Reflecting on his time as a sports presenter and Head of 3Sports, Nyann said, "I feel I have contributed fairly well in my time as sports presenter and Head of 3Sports.
I attained a really good personal brand in the 10 years at Media General while playing a part in growing a number of shows and products." He expressed gratitude to CEO Beatrice Agyemang and COO Mr.
Nuamah-Eshun, saying, "No one can tell me otherwise about your love and care for me, and I appreciate all the advice and support."While Nyann wished to remain with Media General for a longer period, he acknowledged that it's time to move on to the next chapter of his career. "My wish was to remain there for much longer than this period.
But…Unto the next chapter of my life," he concluded.
He shared his love for his colleagues, stating, "I have made a lot of friends in my time at MG, and some across several departments have become family." See his statement below.
