Deputy Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission, Alexander Twum-Barimah, has launched a scathing attack on the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, calling for the immediate resignation of Chairperson Jean Mensa and her two deputies.
Speaking in an interview with Metro TV monitored by GhanaWeb, Twum-Barimah did not mince words, describing the current leadership of the EC as "incompetent" and unfit to oversee electoral matters.
He insisted that Jean Mensa, Dr Bossman Asare, and Samuel Tettey must vacate their positions before any petition is brought against them regarding their conduct in office. "Why is she still at post?
My advice is that they should go before their petition comes up," he declared.
