The arrest of six individuals by the Ghana Police Service's Homicide Unit at Gblorkope in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region, in connection with the gruesome murder of a male victim, has uncovered a web of complicity and a chilling plot allegedly orchestrated by the suspects.
According to The Chronicle newspaper, the deceased - identified as Nelson Anyena - was allegedly killed due to his suspected involvement with a 21-year-old female suspect, believed to be a fetish priestess, by her boyfriend, with whom she had an intimate relationship.
According to the report, the suspected mastermind, 31-year-old Wisdom Hedidor, allegedly conspired with his friend Courage Bedzo, 25, and the 21-year-old female fetish priestess, Augustina Fiawoye - who was in an intimate relationship with Hedidor - to lure the deceased, Nelson Anyena, to an uncompleted building.
Unaware of the danger awaiting him, the deceased reportedly accepted the invitation and was subsequently ambushed and strangled to death by the two suspects: Hedidor and Courage, all under the watch of Augustina, the lady at the center of the issue.
