A father of a first-year female student has accused St Rose's Senior High School (SHS) in Akwatia, Eastern Region, of negligence, alleging that it led to the death of his daughter after she battled an illness.
Mark Kwadjo Gyamerah-Boateng, has threatened to take legal action against the institution and its administration.
He alleged that the school's senior housemistress and other authorities denied his child, the late Beatrice Akua Gyamerah-Boateng, a Home Economics student, the right to seek urgent medical care after she complained of a severe headache, a 3news.com report stated.
Gyamerah-Boateng added that he will pursue the case to ensure justice for his child, stating that he has already taken steps and will file a police report on the matter. "I believe that my daughter died because of their negligence; so, I am going to summon the school's administration to come and answer.
