The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested a young man suspected of being a serial motorbike thief in the Accra Metropolis.
Emmanuel Akampatiba is assisting the police in investigations for allegedly stealing 12 motorbikes within a week in Accra.
Police Superintendent Juliana Obeng, the Head of Public Affairs, in a news brief, said that upon intelligence, the police traced a stolen motorbike to the suspect and during interrogation, he admitted the crime.
Akampatiba mentioned his alleged accomplice as Israel and Fredrick Lomotey, currently at large.
