Correspondence from Eastern Region Nana Dr Kwasi Sasu IV, the newly outdoored Awosohene of the Akyem Kotoku Traditional Council, has issued a powerful call for chiefs and leaders to embrace the ideas of the youth and foster greater unity to accelerate the development of Akyem Oda.
Speaking during his official outdooring ceremony, Nana Sasu IV, who assumes the significant traditional role of overseeing the weapons and ambitions of Akyem Kotoku, emphasised the invaluable contributions young people can make. "The youth have valuable insights and suggestions that can contribute to the development of our town.
We should not dismiss their ideas and opinions just because they are young," he stated emphatically.
He further urged traditional leaders to cultivate an environment where young voices can be heard without fear. "We also need to create a conducive environment for the youth to express themselves without fear of being intimidated.
