Correspondence from Eastern Region Jeff Konadu Addo, the Eastern Regional Chairman of the (NPP), has paid a moving tribute to the late Ernest Yaw Kumi, former Member of Parliament for Akwatia, describing him as an astute politician and dedicated peacemaker.
Ernest Yaw Kumi passed away on July 7th at the tragically young age of 40.
Speaking to journalists on Monday, Jeff Konadu Addo emphasised that the former Akwatia lawmaker would be remembered for his tireless efforts in promoting peace and unity within the party and his constituency.
The Regional Chairman lauded the late Ernest Yaw Kumi's diplomatic approach to politics, noting his preference for constructive dialogue and argument over personal attacks or insults. "His commitment to the NPP party and his constituents was unwavering, and his loss is felt deeply by all," Konadu Addo stated, highlighting the profound impact of Ernest Yaw Kumi's passing.
