Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the official launch of its latest Voluntary National Review (VNR) Report.
The event, held on Tuesday, July 8, was graced by President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, alongside civil society organisations (CSOs) and key development stakeholders.
Taking to her official Facebook page after the event, the Vice President reflected on the day's significance, writing: "Today, I joined the President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, to launch Ghana's Voluntary National Review (VNR) Report on the implementation of the SDGs.
Present were CSOs who indicated their commitment to the SDGs in Ghana and globally." In his address, President Mahama underscored the scale of the challenge ahead as Ghana works to meet its development targets.
