The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), Dr Mary Awusi, has appealed to members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to manage their expectations of government appointees and give them the time and space needed to deliver on their mandates.

Speaking on TV XYZ in a video shared on social media, Dr Awusi acknowledged the high hopes supporters of the party have in the newly appointed officials, especially those serving in key state institutions.

However, she cautioned that while the passion and commitment of the NDC grassroots are appreciated, progress takes time. "What I have to tell the NDC community, especially those working in the various institutions, is that their expectations from government appointees are too much," she said. "They should lower their expectations and give us some time and we will deliver.

We will make you all proud." Dr Awusi, urged party faithful to remain patient and supportive, assuring them that the appointees are working diligently behind the scenes.
