The Black Queens of Ghana find themselves bottom of Group C at the end of the first round of group matches at the 2024 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Queens kicked off their campaign at the tournament being staged in Morocco with a tough encounter against South Africa on Monday.
In the clash against the defending champions, the Black Queens put up a good fight but suffered a 2-0 defeat at the end of the contest.
The other Group C match of the day featured Mali and Tanzania as the national teams of the two countries exhibited good football.
