Ghanaian international Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has completed a move to Swiss second-tier side FC Aarau on a free transfer. The former Hearts of Oak striker joined the side on a two-year deal after leaving FC Zurich.
Barnieh departed from Zurich following a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.
The 24-year-old joined the Swiss club in January 2023 from Hearts of Oak, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal.
He featured in 50 competitive matches for the Swiss side, scoring two goals and registering four assists.
