The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Volta and Oti Regions has announced the commencement of a comprehensive regional revenue mobilization exercise dubbed "Operation All Must Pay." The initiative, which is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 14, 2025, will be conducted for two weeks every month until December 2025.
The aim is to improve revenue collection, address power losses, and ensure equitable service delivery to all customers.
According to Eunice Tweneboa Kodua, the Volta Regional Public Relations Officer of ECG, the exercise will target key areas such as: Disconnection of high-debt customers, Routine disconnections of defaulting customers, Identification and registration of unregistered Self-Help Electrification Project (SHEP) customers, Billing of active but previously unbilled customers, Verification and service for paid-up customers, Disconnection of illegal connections, Recovery of technical and commercial losses "This operation is part of ECG's broader strategy to ensure accountability, reduce losses, and sustain reliable power supply across the region," Mrs.
