A brother of the late Member of for Akwatia, Ernest Kumi, has recounted the heartbreaking events leading to the sudden death of the young legislator, describing him as a "pillar in the family" whose passing has left the entire family devastated.
According to him, Ernest had travelled and returned early this morning, but soon after began complaining of severe heart pains. "He came this morning and complained of pains in his heart.
We rushed him to the hospital, and he was given a drip, but he was unresponsive.
Later, his wife was informed that he had passed," he told journalists on Monday, July 7, 2025.
