The Member of for Akim Swedru, Kennedy Nyarko Osei, has expressed strong opposition to the government's reported decision to convert the proposed National Cathedral into a National Cultural Convention Centre.
In a post on his Facebook page on July 6, 2025, the MP questioned the commitment of Christians to their faith and urged them to speak out against the move.
