The Queen Mother of Sawua Traditional Council in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region, Nana Akosua Abrafi Afisaa II, has made a passionate appeal to President , the Ministry of Health, and the Ghana Health Service to fix the Sawua Regional Hospital.
According to a report by Otecnews, the queen mother's plea comes amid concerns over the hospital's deplorable state and its impact on healthcare.
The hospital, which has been abandoned, is at the verge of destruction and has been ravaged by pests.
A visit to the hospital by Kumasi-based Otecnews found that the beautiful edifice has turned into a breeding ground for pests such as rats, snakes, among many others.
