The National Youth Organiser of the (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has criticised the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for the continued detention of the former Buffer Stock CEO.

According to him, they have met the conditions set by EOCO for Abdul Hannan Wahab, but he alleged a deliberate attempt to frustrate their efforts to secure bail for the detained individual.

Speaking on Channel One TV on July 6, 2025, Mustapha stated that they had attempted to reach the Acting Executive Director of EOCO, , and his deputies to review the documents required to grant bail to Wahab.

However, he said their efforts proved fruitless, as Archer did not respond to their calls. "Why is he still being kept in this station when the conditions that you put on him have been met?
