Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr.
Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo, has assured Ghanaians that while the country is receiving increasing interest from foreign governments requesting Ghanaian labour, the government has no plans to send large numbers of young people abroad at the expense of national development.
Dr.
Pelpuo said the government is ready to support citizens who wish to work outside the country but remains firmly committed to creating sustainable jobs locally through its newly launched 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme. "Lots of countries are also approaching us for jobs abroad.
