Devoted philanthropist and executive director of Brogya Foundation, Sheila Brogya-Sarpong (nee Sheila Ofori), has been honoured with the prestigious award for "Most Outstanding Woman in Child Welfare and Healthcare Access Initiative" at the 11th edition of the Feminine Ghana Achievements Awards, held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Brogya-Sarpong was recognised for her dynamic leadership and humanitarian efforts through the Brogya Foundation-a child welfare charity organization which she co-runs with her husband, Nana Bediako Brogya-Sarpong, the Dompiahene of Asante Akyem Agogo.
Organised by The Business Executive, the awards celebrates leading women creating lasting impacts in society and shaping a world where every child has access to love, care, education and healthcare.
Sheila Brogya Sarpong has spearheaded many projects of the foundation including a strategic partnership with RESTORE Worldwide, led by renowned Ghanaian-American plastic surgeon, Dr Michael K.
