The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), has issued a strong statement condemning the conduct of a staff member involved in a viral altercation with a Level 100 female student over dress code enforcement.
The incident, which was captured on video and widely circulated on social media, prompted swift action from university management.
Following an internal investigation, UPSA confirmed the staff member's behavior was "unacceptable" and "condemned it outright," reaffirming the institution's commitment to integrity, respect, and service.
In a show of accountability, the Vice-Chancellor personally apologized to the affected student, while the staff member involved submitted a written apology.
