The High Court in Accra has scheduled July 18, 2025, to begin the trial of former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, and three others.

They are accused of misusing GH₵49.1 million meant for cybersecurity defence software.

The date was set after the court rejected a request from the defence team to access national security financial records dating back to 1992.

The judge said the trial could proceed since prosecutors had finished sharing evidence and the case management phase was complete.
