On Monday, September 2, 2024, the actress shared this wonderful news with her fans and followers via her official Instagram account.In the video she posted, Ekene was seen adorned in attire reminiscent of the traditional depiction of Mother Mary, featuring a long white garment complemented by a robe and a white veil.
The new mother radiated happiness as she gently held her baby bump.
In the caption accompanying the video, Ekene expressed her gratitude to God for the blessing of motherhood and paid tribute to Mother Mary, reflecting her Catholic beliefs.
She also elaborated on her choice of attire in the context of her announcement regarding the birth of her child. "I am truly blessed by the Lord's mercy.
My pregnancy journey was a wonderful experience, and I give praise to the Blessed Trinity and honour to our Mother Mary, who stood by me throughout. "In my humble attempt to honour her maternal care and intercession, I was inspired by a vision she gave me while praying at the grotto.
It brings me immense joy to be able to dress as Mother Mary, whom I hold dear.
Although I feel unworthy to stand in her presence, her mercy has touched me deeply," she wrote.
