Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Founder and General Overseer of Action Chapel International, has expressed a heartfelt vision for a transformed Ghana where young citizens can thrive without seeking opportunities abroad.

Speaking during the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving in Accra on Tuesday July 1, Archbishop Duncan-Williams shared his hope for a future in which Ghanaians no longer feel compelled to leave the country in search of better livelihoods. "I look forward in my lifetime to see a new Ghana - a Ghana where our sons and daughters will not line up in any embassy for visas to travel out of the shores of this country for greener pastures," he said passionately.

He painted a vision of a self-reliant and prosperous nation where Ghanaians are born, raised, educated, and empowered to succeed within their homeland. "Our sons and daughters will be born, raised, educated, and live and work and flourish and thrive within the borders of Ghana," he added. "They will only travel outside for vacation and holidays, but not to go and seek greener pastures." The Archbishop's remarks come amid growing national conversations about youth migration, unemployment, and the urgent need for long-term development strategies that create sustainable opportunities at home.

His comments served as a call to both leadership and citizens to invest in building a country where future generations can dream and achieve without leaving their homeland.
