Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 stormed the Kojokrom market in the Essikado Ketan constituency in company of the NDC's parliamentary candidate for the area, Professor Dr Grace Ayensu-Danquah.

The visit which forms part of their campaign for the 2024 elections saw the two distinguished women engage the market women at Kojokrom on importance of voting for the NDC in the upcoming elections.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang urged the traders to vote massively for the NDC at both presidential and parliamentary levels as the country has hit a crossroad and need rescuing from the economic crisis created by the Akufo-Addo administration.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang noted that Dr Ayensu-Danquah has consistently shown commitment to the constituents and therefore has earned the right to represent them in the upcoming elections.

The two women also took turns to sensitize the traders on the life-changing policies of a future Mahama government and assured that things will be significantly improved should the NDC assume power again.

Prior to visiting the market, Professor Opoku-Agyemang and Dr Grace Ayensu-Danquah paid courtesy call on the chief of Kojokrom who doubles Gyaasehene of Essikado Traditional Council to hold talks with him and also seek his blessings.
