Seth Terkper, Economic Policy Advisor at the Office of the President, has pointed to several key indicators as evidence of what he describes as satisfactory economic performance under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.

Terkper cited ongoing progress under the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme, improvements in liability and cash flow management, cedi stabilisation, and reforms in the gold export sector as noteworthy achievements.

He expressed optimism about the upcoming fourth review of the IMF-supported programme, expected to be considered by the Fund's executive board in July. "The staff who came into the country are saying that things are going well.
