The (NPP) has officially distanced itself from comments made by its Bono Regional Chairman, Mr.

Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, following a controversial media appearance in which he criticised Archbishop .

In a statement released by the party's General Secretary, Mr.

Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP described Abronye's remarks as "unfortunate and unprovoked," and emphasised that they do not reflect the values or official position of the party. "The holds religious leadership in high regard and recognises the immense contributions of Archbishop Duncan-Williams and the broader religious community to national development, peace, and moral guidance," the statement read.
