The Bono Regional Chairman of the (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has issued a strong warning to Supreme Court Judge, Justice Samuel Kwame Adibu-Asiedu, over what he describes as interference by the Mahama government in the case involving suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Torkornoo.
According to Abronye, Justice Adibu-Asiedu, who is serving on the five-member committee investigating the petitions seeking the removal of Chief Justice Torkornoo, has been influenced by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He added that the judge will one day face the consequences of his actions, emphasizing that the NPP will "punish him" even if it takes a hundred years.
Speaking on his Ohiani TV on June 28, 2025, Abronye DC accused the judge, who was appointed by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, of allowing himself to be manipulated by the current government. "Because they were drunk, they made decisions that were unlawful.
