The Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, is set to meet President during an official two-day visit to Ghana to strengthen bilateral ties between Ghana and India.

The visit, scheduled from Wednesday, July 2, to Thursday, July 3, 2025, will see the two leaders engage in a series of activities, including discussions on key sectors such as education, trade, and others.

In a statement from the Presidency dated Friday, June 27, 2025, the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, stated that the visit highlights the enduring friendship shared between the two countries. "The Presidency of the Republic of Ghana is pleased to announce that the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, His Excellency Mr Narendra Modi, will undertake a two-day Official Visit to Ghana from Wednesday, 2nd July, to Thursday, 3rd July, 2025," he said.

The statement continued, "The visit highlights the warm and longstanding friendly relations between Ghana and India, as well as the importance both nations place on strengthening their strategic partnership.
