The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed two new cases of Mpox, increasing the country's total number of recorded cases to 119 as of June 22, 2025.

In an update shared on its X page on Friday, June 27, 2025, the GHS indicated that no deaths or hospital admissions have been reported in connection with the latest cases. "2 new Mpox cases recorded, bringing the total to 119.

No deaths or admissions have been reported," the post read.

The GHS has consequently urged the public to minimise physical interactions with anyone showing symptoms of Mpox. "Symptoms of Mpox include fever, rash, headache and swollen glands.
